OK. The ugly rumor is true. Everyone does not end up giving their
dog their tag. We first learned this when the owner of a dashing German
Short haired Pointer ordered a tag for Harrison, then e-mailed to thank
us for the tag, and to ask if we sold chains…The tag was so beautiful,
it was going on the owner's neck, not the dog's.
So we rose to the occasion. We found a chain as
distinctive as our sterling dog tags. This beautiful, hand-made
sterling silver chain measures 17 inches in length. It features a
scattering of 8 mm white freshwater pearls, and a sturdy, engraved hook
and ring clasp.
Some people share their dog's i.d. tag. Or they get
two; one with contact information on the back for the dog or cat to
wear, and one with their beloved pet's name for them to wear.
And then there are babies. What a wonderful gift
for a new mother or new grandmother of a baby to offer a "baby tag"
with the newborn's name on the front, and/or the date of birth and last
name on the back. If that's your choice fill out the dog tag
